National Service Scheme (NSS)
National Service Scheme unit was established in our college in 1989. Presently there are 03 NSS units with an approved strength of 300 volunteers. The NSS activities include Social Forestry, Social work of road-making, cleaning, health awareness, blood donation camps, Total Sanitation Programme, Water Harvesting, and Anti-Superstition Campaign. The units organized youth camps at Naigaon, Bhayala, Nalwandi, Dhalewadi, Nafarwadi, Jawalala, Vaijala, Gawalwadi villages.

Activities of NSS Units: In the academic year 2012-13 two volunteers participated in State Level Camp at Agricultural University, Rahuri Dist. Pune.
Lectures of two reknowned professors was organized on occasion of Birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj and Late Shri. Yashwantrao Chavan.
A Plantation Programme was undertaken in the college campus.
The volunteers were guided on personality development.
A slogan and poster competition was held on 15 th and 21 st August 2012.
A guiding lecture was organized for women students on the topics of wome foetucide and enstrengthening of women.
A rally was organized on occasion of International Literacy Day.
NSS day was observed in the college.
The NSS volunteers of our units were appointed as "Police Friends" and performed duty to maintain peace and decorum during Ganesh Festival in Patoda region.
31 volunteers donated blood on occassion of commemoration of Late Kesharbai Kshirsagar. The blood donation camp was organized in colege.
P. O. Prof. Ghodke Y. R. attended lecture on First aid, safefuard, and assistance to the victims of natural calamities. The lecture was organized by Patoda Tehsil Office.
63 volunteers and students donated blood on occassion of 63 rd birthday of Hon. Jaidutta Kshirsagar.
Two volunteers of our units participated in District Level NSS Camp.
One volunteer won Second Prize in debating competition on the topic' Increasing harrassments of women- who is responsible?'.
The NSS volunteers published a Booklet on preventive and curative measures to be taken for Dengue. The booklet was circulated to all colleges in the region.
P. O. Prof. Ghodke Y. R. attended a workshop on NSS organized by Pramiladevi Patil College, Neknoor in collaboration with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
